About Barrie and Barbara
BARRIE ENSLIN
Barrie has 38 years financial accounting and internal audit experience in the mining industry, both within South Africa and internationally.
His areas of expertise include financial and operational auditing. He started Pro Optima Audit Services PTY Ltd in 1997. Pro Optima Audit Services’ clients are Gold Fields and Sibanye Stillwater Gold and Platinum (since 2002) and AngloGold Ashanti (since 2003), Lonmin Platinum (since 2008), Gold1 (since July 2011), Village Main Reef (since April 2014) and Impala Platinum (since 2019). EY also contracts Pro Optima in on an ad-hoc basis to assist on their projects in the mining industry.
BARBARA ENSLIN
Barbara is an interior designer with 16 years’ experience in design and construction of leisure, commercial and residential developments. She was involved in turn-key projects for award winning developments in South Africa.
Barbara has a passion for business development in Africa of innovative ideas from concept to implementation.
She travels frequently in Africa, Europe, and the Middle East to facilitate business transactions and is currently part of the process to sell high worth minerals from Africa to clients in the US, the Middle East and Europe. Pro Optima Group Pty Ltd was established in 2012 to facilitate these transactions and execute projects in South Africa and Africa.
